Today we picked buckets of grapes which now sit beside the buckets of peaches. Andrew picked some more pears and his lovely mother Verna decided to collect a big box of the walnuts which had already fallen on the ground. Dad found a lone toadstool.
I am fascinated by the shape of these bunches of grapes. Tabitha the kitten again finds that walnuts make wonderful footballs. Who can resist photographing a toadstool in between processing more pears and peaches? And so goes another gentle, sunny Autumn day.
Below : Ready for the freezer, more pears and peaches.
